Intel wants there cpus used in different ways...AMD has been for gaming since 2003

I went to the Intel Gaming website they want me to buy a $300-1000 CPU for 5-30 fps when I got my CPU for $150

Show me a good 6 - 8 core optimized game and ill consider ditching my Phenom II x4...

Screw 6-8 cores, a waste of wattage.

I can clearly state that Intel, since the Core 2 days, has been the foreman for gaming computers. AMD caught up, kinda, with the Phenom II lineup but Intel has been better for gaming for the past four years now. I'm pretty sure that a 2500K smokes a 1100T in games. Just sayin'.

I use AMD in my desktop because I get solid performance for a good price. However, for building a new computer, I wouldn't ever dream of using AMD until Bulldozer arrives. The lowest I'd go would be an i3-2120.

I haven't followed this super close, but either way Im heading the amd route.
Im not liking the direction intel is headed
It's pretty much hyper threading for AMD.

"AMD's product warranty does not cover damage caused by overclocking (even when overclocking is enabled via AMD OverDrive™ software)."

Sounds kind of fail...
