It doesn't look like I'll be able to do anything creative with the LED in the toggle switch since its only got the one terminal marked "ACC", unless I'm completely mistaken and its power is incorporated with the other terminals or something. Would it be at all possible to incorporate another LED with the toggle switch that turns on when the switch is flicked on, even when the computer itself isn't, maybe by using a battery?
I couldn't give you an exact answer without looking at the data sheet.
the pictures on frozen cpu are confusing. there are pictures of ones with two connectors and ones with 3 connectors.
If it had 3 connectors it could be a 3 position toggle switch, but im going to go with power is connector or LED and ACC is + and GND is -.
Also im pretty sure the LEDs with the switches won't work because it's looking for a 12v source and im pretty sure the power/hdd led won't put out 12v from the board.
this is my best guess, again im not 100% certain without out looking at the data sheet, but i think this is what you're looking for:
(again the LEDs probably won't work, Or if you get lucky they might and they will just be super dimm.) If you really want it to work well you would take it apart and replace the LED (if that's eve possible).
