I wanna try bridging it but then i dont feel like going through the hassle of draining it and what not should there be any issues.

Its gonna be ran by a Swiftech MCP655 and accompanied by the Rasa cpu block and the RX360 rad so i dont think restriction will be to much of an issue especially cause all the inlets and outlets are of equal size, but i think ill just run one res to avoid any complications.

I might just be being severally OCD even though its not my computer its going in, but only seing one side filled with water would just irritate me so even though i may only be physically using one side id still fill the other side with water for esthetic purposes.

He won't get any less flow if he got the right one. All it is, is less water in the res. That is not a big deal. I say keep it and it will give you the option to do dual loops if you wanted to.

***.. To add more insult to injury... as im sitting here sorting everything out i now noticed i received 2 wrong res's.. I was supposed to receive 4 XSPC D5 Dual Bay res's and 1 dual bay single res. Instead i received 3 D5 dual bays, 1 dual DDC res and a the 2 bay double res being questioned in this thread.. Lets see what else i can find wrong.

I'm not clued up on water cooling, but could you not just use 2 Y joints and split the input and output to both rez's
So in this way both Rez's will have inlet and an outlet? It should reduce resistance to and from the rez

Im just sending it back. I have 2 wrong res's, i seem to be missing a few compression fittings and instead of 32 GT AP15's there are 29 and 3 AP14's. I never had anything like this happen before. Maybe they aren't accustomed to receiving large orders??, idk... but either way it looks like i need to send stuff back, unless they by their good graces they just send me what i was supposed to get originally. But thats highly unlikely.

O ok, I guess you'd need near perfect equal lengths to prevent un even flow, which is unlickly, and end up favouring one rez, I'm I on the right track?

Don't forget that also if you got two different waterblocks at the end of each line, the one with least resistance will get the most water.

Yeah, i'd keep away from Y splitters.
