What's your take on this?

So I recently sold a 9800GX2. It had been running great in my system for about a year, and has been folding flawlessly as well. Temperatures were cool (nothing over 80 if I recall), and never had a problem with anything. The person I sold it to has had many problems with it, here are just a few of their threads:

Sounds like the card was toyed around with and taken apart a lot, and there was a lot of worrying over nothing. Now the card doesn't work. I don't know what to do at this point.

Why would you make a pad and paste layer?????

Seems he messed up with the thermal pads to me, tbh it was working fine and then he took it apart. I do normally do this to cards but if i ______ it up i wouldnt ask for a refund/return. I think he put to thick thermal pads on liffting the heatsink off the core a bit. hope this helps .

I honestly don't think it's my fault, and I can't afford to refund him either. Oh well.

While I do not have a ton of Rep to be saying this but, you sold him a working card. He took it apart trying to? Clean it up? If it isn’t broke don’t fix it. He took apart a working card to replace pads and clean it up. He messed it up. It is His fault. . .
