Nvidia: XFX and EVGA

Both have great warranties. I've had great luck with EVGA's warranty service, and XFX has the transferable warranty which is great for a tech community like this that's always buying/selling used equipment.

ATI: No experience.

Nvidia
1. ASUS
2. EVGA
3. Gigabyte

ASUS has a decent warranty, and I've never had a problem with any ASUS products. If I have the choice, I'd definitely choose ASUS above all else.

ATI
1. ASUS
2. Sapphire

I don't have any experience with ATI, but I haven't heard any bad things about Sapphire, and I'll always remain loyal to ASUS. You can pretty much disregard the ATI portion of this post. lol.

Of all the brands I've owned the list is as follows from best to worst (covering everything such as support, drivers, quality, reliability, etc):

ASUS - Best cards I've owned, never had to RMA ever, some driver problems w/ custom pcb cards
EVGA - Excellent all around
XFX - Great brand imo, but know of some friends who had problems w/ their midrange cards (5770s maybe?)
HIS - generally solid cards imo, maybe not the best quality though. Had some random issues w/ them in past (intermittent graphics bugs and drawing more power than the rated amount)
Sapphire - OK quality, some questionable bundled drivers in my experience
BFG - Defunct now, but had gotten cards DOA from them

Asus....

EVGA - Quality is astounding. They're the only company I'll buy from for the reference edition cards. Not to mention they'll last well beyond their warranty.
-EVGA GTX 260 c216
-EVGA 9800GTX+
-EVGA GTX 295 Co-op Edition
-EVGA GTX 470
(cards I've owned)

XFX - Fantastic cards. RMA system is a little sketchy according to reports, but I've never had a problem with them.
-3 XFX HD4770s - All three in TrifireX hit 900/1900
-XFX 1GB GTS 250
-XFX 896MB GTX 275

ASUS - Again, quality matters. Not to mention overclockability matters and these cards always hit higher for the reference editions.
-ASUS 768MB GTX 460 - Hit 875/1750/2100 @ max voltage
-ASUS 1GB GTX 460 - Hit 900/1800/2000 @ max voltage

MSI - First MSI card is the one I'm using. It's a flashed GTX 465 Golden Edition, now a GTX 470, and it's amazing. So far it's the highest quality GTX 400 series card I've owned. Makes me wonder why I didn't buy a Twin Frozr when it came out...
-MSI GTX 465 Golden Edition - Easily hits 850/1700/2000 as a GTX 465 and 790/1580/1900 as a GTX 470.

For overclockers msi twin frozr is the best.

Sapphire and Zotac are also great.
For Nvidia -

EVGA (RMA service is 1337)

Asus

MSI

in that order.

ATI:

Asus

Sapphire

MSI

in that order.

But from what I hear Zotac is awesome.
