Not. When you run a divider you keep the ram at a set speed and can run the FSB as high as the cpu/mobo will handle. This is usually done when say your ram can only handle 250mhz freq, but you want to push the cpu/mobo to 300mhz to better clock speed .

You do that on a Soyo motherboard and it will not post.

If your using warp speeder, there should be a button to auto-detect the best, most stable and highest overclock possible. Thats what I used when I first got into OC'in

Like i sed im NOT trying to OVERCLOCK my cpu!!! But another question is: Could my CPU be locked even tho the Mobo lets me change the multiplier but after a restart it just wont post cuz the CPU is locked and wont allow it? so there for it wont post?

Most likely the CPU is locked and I doubt very much any T-Bred will run @ a 200FSB even if the multiplyer was unlocked. Unlocking is a PITA (PAin in the A..)
That is considering your multiplyer is 15 and the default FSB is 133Mhz, a 166Mhz FSB, if possible would yield an actuall 2490Mhz and a 200FSB would yield a 3000Mhz. So now you see why it will never happen. A spare box of mine has a 2200+ T-Bred "B" core and it's not much for a 166 FSB beyond about the actual 2300Mhz range.
BTW, not all CPU cores are the same so who knows if the 200 FSB at 10x will ever work for you. Mine wouldnt boot @ 200 X anything regardless of the voltage.

It could be the cpu is locked, or your cpu doesn't like a 200 mhz fsb, or your motherboard may not like the settings you have chosen. Do you have the latest bios from Soyo? I think it should be the kvx42aa9. At least that's what I'm running on my KT 400 Dragon Ultra Platinum. I personally think it's probably that you have a locked cpu. Set the fsb at 143 mhz, 15 on the multi, and SPD on the DRAM clock and see if it will post. Better yet set the fsb to 166 mhz.
