I've had no problems with the Asus EUFI, just go to advanced mode and it basically functions just like the old BIOS.
Seriously the worst layout ive ever seen.

I have nothing wrong with the layout of the BIOS, but I cannot for the life of me get my ram to boot at 1600mhz and if I do i get cold boot loops, I hear a cmos clear from the back panel button can help... I guess I will try that tonight..

Do you also leave turbo/c1e/speedstep and stuff on ?

As for having a slot for a sound card as well, I'm not sure about that. You'll have to look at the board layouts yourself.

As for the UD7, I guess Gigabyte was counting on people using really short cards in that slot, like USB cards like this:
Yea i might have to look into something, Im not so sure I can hang onto this thing for long without going insane.

well if you haven't noticed that 3 card layouts on otherboards is not different. but yes gigabyte I guess expects you to use a smaller 1x card.

M4E is worse as its blocked as well, and you can't even use a smaller 1x card. i guess you are stuck, but FYI that heatsink needs to be there, the NF200 gets hot, very hot without a heatsink fan for the cpu, with airflow aroudn the socket its cool, but if there is none like with watercooling it gets very hot.

Gig isn't the first to do this. Original asus RE comes to mind.
