Airflow in my CM 690 II Adv. case

Hi!

I just wanted to show you how I'm gonna setup my airflow and control in my case smile.gif

I also have a few questions, which will be stated later in the post smile.gif

Here is an image of the intended airflow in my case:

Here are pictures of the fans, I will be using:

Front intake:

Bottom intake:

HDD cage:

Left side intake:

Rear exhaust

Top rear exhaust mount:

Top front mount - Push/Pull fans for H50:

Right side exhaust:

This looks all good smile.gif

Now here's how, I'm going to set up my fans to my Sunbeam Rhebus Extreme (when I get it all on February 1st.):

fancontrollersetup.png

I will NOT be using Gentle Typhoons smile.gif Instead, I will use the sexy Phobya G-Silent 12 fans for my H50 smile.gif

Things I won't be responding to:

01. Other fan suggestions than what I have here - I live in Denmark, and I might not be able to buy the fans you mention.

02. People saying I MUST go with the Gentle Typhoons - I really want to get good cooling for a low price, and the GT's would be $20-$30 a pop, where the Phobya is only $9 a pop, and as far as I can see, their performance is similar.

03. People saying, I should cut or in some other way damage my case.

04. People saying, I should reverse my H50 mount so it takes air in.

05. People saying, I should remove the bottom HDD-cage - I need to fill at least three mounts: 1x SSD, 2x HDDs - maybe even 3x HDDs.

But you are welcome to come with ideas on fan placement smile.gif As long as my H50 blows air out smile.gif Right now it's in the rear exhaust position, but that isn't very good, because the hot air from the pump gets sucked into the rad.

You can also comment on it as long as the comment doesn't interfere with the previous mentioned stuff smile.gif

Also, if you think it's a good setup, feel free to say so smile.gif

Now I have some questions:

01. Now that I have two Sharkoon System-Fan P 120mm. fans as left side intake, which have a whopping 137 CFM, would I be able to use the much quieter Phobya G-Silent 12 fans (57 CFM) for bottom intake, and HDD cage, without compromising on cool air?

02. Would the HDD fan mount be stupid/useless because of the bottom, side and front intake fans?

03. Would this be a good setup?

Thank you! smile.gif

I've only added one 140mm to the top blowing out and one 140mm to the bottom blowing in. Flows a LOT of air. Filters need cleaning twice a month.

Yeah, well, I like the idea that my case is ultimately cooled biggrin.gif

That also means better cooling for the dual GTX 460's that I'm going to install smile.gif
