patch 1.04 brought a great improvement to my HD4850 and a SLI setup of 8800GTS 512. No more slowdowns and a better average framerate.

It'd be in your best interest not to talk about 'bootleg' games here.

But in relation to your question, yes...there are patches out to turn an unplayable game to a moderately playable one. It's still not as polished as it could be.

ok sorry.

basically i think it runs slow because i have core 2 duo, not quad core.
so i hope the patches make it run better on dual core

anybody playing this game on dual core?

I used to. It made me want to kill myself because of constant hard-stutter and generally low framerate. My old duo was clocked at 4.3ghz, too.

The difference between playing this game on a duo compared to a quad is astoundingly amazing.

sorry, there you go.
ya so far i could run it at lowest settings, its passable but not smooth enough to do well in MP, so before i buy it i was hoping the patches made it better for people like me with dual core

Kofman, you won't get great framerates with that specs, your 9400m won't let you run black ops on a high resolution and visual treatments. Even though MW2 and black ops share the same game engine, the last one is notoriously heavier. In what configuration do you use to play?

bootlet? the fact that you can't get that word right, says it all. not to mention BO is a horribly coded game. infact a crap game altogether, but such is the new CoD franchise way.
The game is very GPU dependent, that mobile dual core is not going to cut it.

Also, don't come complaining to us saying your pirated copy isn't running well.
