Thread Starter
So we got off at the wrong start, i have connected both my psu in parallel without taking any safety precautions but making sure only the correct connections make contact... picture.php?albumid=3686&pictureid=21231picture.php?albumid=3686&pictureid=21232 this maybe a kookoo.gif idea but hey i did it and it works 100% so i have heard about all the kick and tricks... comment as you wish (but it works for me)

Why on earth would you do that?

Not only will one PSU be just fine for that setup, you are doubling your cables, reducing the airflow with it, and making life a lot harder for yourself.

Also, sorry, had to point out the 5970 on a 17" monitor, too. doh.gif

Still, even if it is HD, at 1920 x 1080, there is little difference between a 5970 and a 470.

+1 to this, only reason for a 5970 is if your using extreme resolutions (this coming from someone with 2x 5870 doh.gif )

OT: Why in the hell would you EVER use 2 PSU's? Honestly...what was your thought process here?

Got any pics of the two PSUs removed from the system to show how you actually connected them?

Also, when a mod closes one of your threads, it's not to wise to make another one.

EDIT: Wait, are you just using one PSU for board and CPU and the other for GPU? I'm confused.
