Help with new Radeon 4650

Thread Starter
I just bought a Radeon 4650, PCI-e 512mb and I've got it hooked to my Dell U2711 via DVI-D. The graphics looks pixelated at the displays native res. I have to drop the res way down to stop the pixelation. I installed the latest driver from sapphires website when I installed the card. My wallpaper looks right, but icons and text are unreadable. Any ideas, I've attached a pic for reference.

(Note: This is not in my sig rig.)

Do you have nVidia drivers installed also?

When I was testing a GTX470 on my U2711, I had the exact same problem, and had to drop it down to at least 1920x1080 to make it readable, although it was still blurry. I was running ATI drivers, and the nVidia 260.99 I installed to test the 470.

I never had chance, as I was only testing OCCT and Furmark, or bothered, to remove my ATI drivers and do a clean install of just the nVidia drivers, so perhaps that is the problem.

Albiet, you have it in the opposite manner. If that makes sense.

Nope, this isn't my sig rig so there is no nVidia card installed.
