[Onlive] Play Pack "Beta" Free for 2 Weeks. - Page 4

OnLive is handy if you want to check a game out if you're one of those legal eagles who doesn't download anything.

They give out little 30 minute trials for every game they offer, which I think is something other games should do.

Seriously, a 30 minute trial would be pretty decent I think to help sell a game.

EDIT: I should also add that even if you're not a law-abiding citizen and you do download games, Onlive is a much quicker way to trial video games as it only takes something like a minute to load something up...it's pretty quick.

With OnLive the only real way to play is with a controller. Controller input you don't notice the lag as much. With a mouse, forget it... too much difference since we expect our mice to behave instantly.

Honestly, I actually noticed that Gaming RIG's graphic looks super crisp more than MC.

I took screenshots from RIG, not MC -

Bad news, THQ have released Metro 2033 on the onlive, and the game wouldn’t launch on the MicroConsole.

I gave a try Metro 2033 on the console, look at-

Plus Onlive Controller wont work on PC, Mac, XBOX 360 or others if plugged into USB..

Don't purchase MC system as WASTE, please..

20Mb fibre optic, however was running on wirless but get a solid 144Mbps so shouldn't notice too much lag.

Input lag was my biggest problem :'(

The only thing that is not so good about this is that there is input lag. The rest is fine and I support this concept. Graphics are not on maximum at the moment but things like that are easily solved when later everyone has a 20+Mbps internet connection and Onlive purchases more and better hardware. Input lag is something else, i'm not sure how they are going to solve that.

work pretty well on my internet. (50/10)

Works good on my internet but lags a little bit. Still the games are completely playable and absolutely amazing since Im hooked up to a 24" LED using my aspire one netbook. Feels good to play on a netbook, lol.
