Looking to create a list of SB overclocks with their respective voltages.

Please state what sort of stress testing you've done at each clock rate.

(Thanks)

Examples:

i5-2500k 4.5ghz 1.29 V PRime 2 hours or so

Also, whatever happened to the warning that sandy bridge volts should be between 1.325 and 1.38 (somewhere there)? Also, whats the recommended PLL voltage? I have mine at auto for now with asus p8p67 pro.

From what I've seen I'd caution you that your reported voltage and the actual voltage may be two different things.

It seems ASUS boards are reporting voltage lower than other boards. Every person with an ASUS board - including yourself now has reported voltage far lower than what everyone else seems to be getting at the same clocks.

Please bare in mind that this doesn't mean it is, just something I have observed.

should also add if HT is on or off...

4.8g HT off. 1.34. Prime95 3hrs, IBT: 20 runs
4.5g HT on. 1.3 Same

I haven't tried to optimize, I just wanted to see what I could get below 1.35 with HT on and off.

I'm getting about the exact same. 1.29v under load. I'm debating on whether or not I should use extreme LLC. I heard it can degrade your chip?

4.6ghz, 1.296v, 50 Linx stable, and going on 2 hours of Prime95 as I type. I set my PLL to 1.85v. I've read you need 1.9 for 4.7ghz+ but I haven't pushed my chip that far yet. I also have all power saving features enabled.

I have a chart already set up so everyone can compare instantly.

I have it set to extreme as I was following the newegg youtube guide from an asus rep. It seems cpu z does report a lower voltage from bios as I get 1.288 on load, 4.5 ghz.

Prime95 just failed after an hour and a half. Bumped it up to 1.31v. I never did full stability testing at 4.5ghz, but I passed 20 linx runs @ 1.25v (load).

Cpu-Z is more accurate. The Vcore drops under load because I only have LLC on medium for now. If I set it to extreme it doesn't change under load. It makes more sense to state the voltage under load since a higher idle voltage seems pointless?

Does anyone know if LLC degrades these chips?
