HT Too High?

So my HT is at 1200MHz, and I think it's the biggest thing that's causing my crashes and low OC's. I can change the multiplier in the BIOS. Is it FSB*HTM=HT? If so, does anyone think turning the multi down will help?

yes lower multiplier will help with stability.
