Which of these cheaper cases would be best for cooling?

Thread Starter
Hey everyone,
I'm just checking out these cases and want an expert opinion on which case under $75 is the best for cooling?

Here's a link to the page with the cases:
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?..._504&vk_sort=1

I'm considering the Coolermaster Gladiator 600

Keep in mind the shipping costs, what ultimately made me go with the rosewill i'm using was free shpping, though tbh, the cooling in it is very decent (5 fan slots, 3x120mm silverstone fans stock).

With prices from lowest to highest:

01. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=14859

02. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=11208

03. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=14105

04. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...oducts_id=5863

05. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=11207

06. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=13772 ----> Got this myself, and LOVE it!

05. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=15892

The rest of the cases are really not worth it... Especially if you choose the CM 690 II Adv. or number 01.

Just my opinion

Now, if you are on a budget, you could choose either these two:

01. Cooler Master Elite 430
02. Cooler Master Centurion 5 II Black (No PSU)

If you want very good, high quality cases, you should choose either two of these:

01. Cooler Master CM 690
02. Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced ---> IT'S AWESOME!

Now if you want extreme cooling and performance go for something like this:

01. CoolerMaster HAF 932 Case
02. CoolerMaster CM Storm Sniper Black Edition

Hope that helped a bit

From personal experience, the HAF series is pretty good if your looking for low temps, they might cost a little more, but cost less overall then the competitors. I would rate the 922 as worth it, it provides reliable cooling while running quietly.

Only problem is I think op is in australia, and rosewill is a house brand for newegg which doesn't ship internationally.

Yeah, unless he want's to install a tower cooler in it, then he might have problems with fitting it in

But yes, the HAF 922 is also very good

This is a modded Beta Evo. Important issues:

1. Case is wide enough to take the full tower coolers (160mm).

2. Forward position available at the top for cool air intake to be presented to the heatsink. Some cases come with only a rear top fan position.

3. Bottom intake. I had to cut a hole in my case to get this.

4. Unobstructed front intake.

5. Side intake to cool gpu's.

I think the 690 fts the bill fairly well.

I have a CM Storm Sniper and I love it. I've changed the fans around and added a few extras. Temps are amazing.

Attachment 190389 Attachment 190390
There's also a 200mm intake on the side

EDIT: Oooops...Just re-read the OP and now realize that a Sniper is outside the budget.

Unless you're set on a coolermaster case, how about the Antec 300?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129042

It has amazing cooling, lots of room for video cards, decent cable management and the price is well within your budget. Hopefully it's available where you live
