High Temps

Thread Starter
Hello,
My Kuma has been running unusually warm, about 50C @ no load. I reseated a few times and ended up with the same temps (I'm guessing the CPU fan may be going bad).
I suppose its about time for an aftermarket cooler but I don't have much to spend. Any suggestions?

cooler master hyper 212+ is a great budget cooler for around $30. If you can afford to spend a few extra bucks i would recommend the scythe mugen which usually goes for around $40

the 212+ would be better

that one will work if your case is low profile, and there is room around the cpu for it

how is the airflow inside your case?

case-less, open air-tech bench style (home made of course).

+1 for 212+

Make sure you take the direct heat pipes into consideration when you apply paste!!

the fan that comes with it is a 75cfm 2000rpm
very good for a 120mm fan

there are better ones, but they cost about $15+ ea

you wont gain much more cooling via push/pull with it
