What NOT to do - Page 6

Nice burn, my most painful burn ever was extremely small, only about the size of a small button, or a pea, but it was on my nipple and it was from some hot molten slag (got a bad pierce from the oxy/acetylene torch and it splashed on me). I had to bandage it for over 2 weeks and I couldn't much even look at it without it hurting. Any time my shirt brushed it or anything it was very painful. Talk about a sensitive area.

Protip: Don't burn your nipples.

Using a needle or some type of syringe to pop it and relieve the pressure will help greatly with easing the pain.

One time I was cutting 1/4 inch steel plate with an acetylene torch in my high school metal shop class. I was really smart and had my foot directly under where I was cutting. I was wearing Puma running shoes with only the thin nylon mesh over the toes. A big drop of molten steel fell on my shoe, burned clean through the top of the shoe like it was made of butter and went between my big toe and the next toe. Luckily it burned right through the skin connecting my toes and sunk into the sole of my shoe. I danced around screaming like a girl and kicked off my shoe. I still have a scar...

Hehe, I have a black mark under one of my big toenails from a piece of slag, burned clean through my nail and I had to wait for the hole in the nail to grow out. The nipple was still the most painful ever. You just don't know how sensitive that area is until you hurt it.
