Gtx 470 sli?

Thread Starter
so my one card has a VID of .925 and the other has a VID of .975

I can run the .925 Card at 880MHz/1760/837 and it's bench/gaming/kombuster stable.

I haven't tried out the second, .975mv card as of yet, but should I be able to attain 800MHz for both in SLI?

Second question: are these VID's good?

Still waiting to get my 780i shipped in.

Thanks for the help, in advance.

I would be curious to know this one as well. I recently purchased an open box MSI Twin Frozr 470 GTX with a VID of 950. Currently OCed stable to 800/1600/1800 on 1037 mV. Could probably go higher if I tried...

Anyways, is 950 a good VID? I still have the opportunity to return it if for a full refund...

I think anything below 1.00 VID is considered good.

I was able to get my .975 VID up to 815/1630/837

I didn't bother messing with the RAM clocks but yeah. I'm hoping this will translate into 815core for SLI, since my .925 VID can hit 880MHz/1760/837

I personally would test both cards individually and go from there.

And yes both those vids look good, lower the better as already mentioned.

Hey Jam how'd the benchmarking on them bad boys go so far? I was following up on your benchmarking thread but have since fallen out. I've also been wanting to ask what the temps were that you were gettin out of both of em.

Thanks
