It really depends on how much performance you wan to pay for. Intel SB prefers speed over timings.

IMO I wouldn't go over 1.6v on SB ram. Remember the memory controller is onboard now, and at 32nm.
Yeah its hard for me to transition from AMD to Intel stuff in my head sometimes since this is my very first Intel build! I've been AMD since back in the Socket A days! I'll try looking for some higher speed ram. Money isn't really an issue as I'm not going to be buying any for a little while due to my watercooling stuff coming in.
