Hey all !!

Well, I've been looking forward to a new system build and here I have it but still, somethings not good enough......

So, money is a VERY big problem here in M'sia cuz the price of computer parts are mostly kinda bumped up and right now, I hasn't been any good.......and I only have a roughly 1200 bucks since I started saving for the past few year.

To start with, I went to a local shop at a heritage island...you can guess XD....and grabbed a Silent Pro M600 , CM V8 and a WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD

A few days later........
Since I got another piggyback to the shop with my friends and bought the remaining parts which is the
-ASUS Maximus III Formula
-Intel Core I5-760
-Corsair 4GB DDR3
-ASUS GTX 460 TOP 1GB
-ASUS SATA 24x DRW-24B1ST

After the parts came, I start with putting up a system test bench until........

I finally got my HAF 922 along with 4 CM Sickle Fans RED one's and I start to plan the design......

Anyways, here's my plan, from first to last
-Rip open the case and spray paint it black , inside out.
- Spray the Front bezel mesh with black yellow color
- Paint the hazard warning stripes on both the side panel
- Spray paint the front body armor with black and later on with glossy paint .
- Use body filler ( 3 cans of them ) to make body armor in the top intake/out take fan
-draw republic of gamers decal on paper, cut it out and use to spray paint a logo onto the case side panel.
-sanding the top armor( not shown )
-spray paint the top body armor with glossy paint first and then black
-bend the cpu retention hole to a larger one cuz I don't have dremer sold here
-make a shield for the cpu cooler.
- put in every parts I have biggrin.gif

Hey, I'm modding my own HAF 922 as well and I too spray painted the inside of it. One thing you want to make sure though is that you spray your case evenly. It's a good idea you did multiple coats, but it looks like you oversprayed in some areas. This is common for even regular painters to do when you see a spot that's not 100% covered on the first coat, it kind of bugs you. However, as long as you spray lightly and evenly, you'll be okay. I learned this the hard way lol.

Also, are you putting any clear coat on after you spray paint? Your paint may chip when you start putting components on it or even the side panels if you don't. Not trying to be harsh or anything, just giving some pointers.

Good luck though, I like your idea! Subbed smile.gif
