i think your vcore is too high?

i got mine stable to play games and doing anything else @ 4.2 1.28Vcore. havent tested for folding/linx though.

Thats what I think but It wont stabilize for anything with 1.3 or lower. Unless some other settings are stopping it.

What is your uncore at?
124 - not enough vtt to support the uncore.

Your uncore is set to auto as is your memory frequency selection. Your uncore frequency should be set at twice that of your memory.

So if you using 142 as your BCLK with a memory multiplier of 10 to give your 1420MHz you need to select a Uncore frequecncy multi of 20 to give 2840MHz.

Your CPU PLL is also set to auto, I'd set that to 1.88

ok, I changed my DRAM freq to 1194 and UCLK freq to 2390. I believe I read somewhere that the 980x will allow you to go to a 1:1.5 ratio so you can run a lower vtt, that correct? I'm not too worried about the memory speed.

One thing I did noticed was that under my DRAM timing control, It was set to auto for everything before and I know for a fact I checked it and it was right, 9-9-9-24, but this time it was 8-8-8-20. So I manually set it back to 9-9-9-24 and set timing mode to 2n (I read somewhere to set this memory on that, cant remember where)

so with my mem and uncore set, and 27x149, with 1.38vcore and 1.38QPI it ran Linx for 8hrs, then folded for 4hrs before it gave me a x124 BSOD. And this is bumped down to 4023MHZ.

This thing is driving me crazy. I went simple, multi to 31, 133bclk. Started at 1.25QPI 1.3vcore. Upped the vcore until it would boot, started running linx, upped vcore on each error. Finally got to x124 BSOD's again, started upping QPI a notch at a time, and it doesnt help any. Memory was set low, 1333 I believe, and uclk at 2666. What am I doing wrong?
