I think so, this is one awesome chip. I'm loving it so far, not giving me anywhere near the hassle the other one was.

Can you post your settings that you're using for this OC? I cant seem to get stable at 4.4 with a vcore nearly that low.

Note that this is on stock air, waiting for my waterblock mounting kit still

Guess the 980x needs a lot less voltage then my w3680 for 4.4. Or I just need to fix my overclock settings lol. Don't have much luck with high multipliers.

im currently off water waiting for a new RAD, i never had these settings written down (idiot I know). But i think i had to change the QPI link from 3200 to 2400 If im not mistaken.

My dx58so board is forcing 1:2 for my qpi link bringing it to 3200 even though im running 133 bclk with 12 mem multiplier and 18 uncore multiplier.. dont think i can bring my qpi link down to 2400.. What did you have your QPI / Uncore Voltage Override set to? I tried the default automatic setting at 1.150, xmp-1600 profile that had it set to 1.2, and also tried 1.35 etc. Didn't seem to do much in terms of stability for me..

I am currently at 4.4ghz 133x33 vcore 1.388 and IBT reported instability after about 38 passes. My temps are getting quite high and I don't feel comfortable going any higher on the vcore without being under water. Does vcore 1.388 seem normal for a OC like this or would u guys expect more/less?
