Indeed I do. It's killed my bigadv PPD a bit but once the others helped me and told me to do the -smp 7 thing it's working pretty well.

I'm new to folding but how is your 930 getting 27000ppd on a unit? Also does Fahmon decrease performance? I rather use that than HFM.

By folding Bigadv. You dont put out as many units but they are worth way more.

My CPU's folding bigadv's which give more PPD than SMP. But it's only using 7 out of 8 cores/threads. The other thread is devoted to servicing the needs of the 3 GTX 470's.

This is how my setup breaks down:

CPU Only(bigadv) - 35k - 36k PPD = 35-36k PPD
CPU + GPU I - 32k PPD/15k PPD = 47k PPD
CPU + GPU I/II - 30k PPD/15k PPD/15k PPD = 60K PPD
CPU + GPU I/II/III - 27k PPD/15k PPD/15k PPD/15k PPD = 72k PPD

I'm not sure if there is a real difference between HFM and FahMon. Can't say that I've noticed any at least.

Well then I can't wait to complete 10 SMP's so that I can start some bigadv.

Here's how my info currently looks,

So the points in the credits column are only awarded once you've reached 10 SMPs WU's correct? I've been working on and off on a 2000000 step work unit. Ughh.

Interesting, I am getting 30 (according to HFM). Not sure if that is normal for my chip or not. I would like it to be in the 20s though.

zodac, all we have to do is fold under our folding name and the OCN team number for the duration of the contest and we're in, correct?

I'm asking because I use FaHTracker and It's working very well for me, better than it would if I used the SMP and Multi-GPU guides.

As you can probably tell, I'm a n00b folder. But I do have two GTX 470's and a Q6600 that will be put to good use for OCN.

No you still get the points in the credits column. Bonus points just aren't being calculated because that's not a bigadv unit. Once you get your 10 SMP WU's and start folding bigadv's it'll include bonus points into the credit column.

Hmmm not sure to be honest. What kind of PPD are you getting off it and what's it OC'd to?

Edit: According to the calculator you're only getting about 37k PPD off that. That's really not much more than I get when I dedicate my CPU to bigadv only. You should be pulling 45k easily on it based upon what I've read at least.

Calc here: http://www.linuxforge.net/bonuscalc2.php
