I think the "surprise" was the Gulftown @ 5.27 GHz was ousted by the low-end Sandy Bridge i5-2500K @ only about 5.08 GHz if I read the benchmarking posts correctly:

Just a little heads up on voltage, over 1.5v can instantly degrade your chip, one boot at 1.52v for a 5.4ghz run and bam my chip won't pass x46 multiplier. you can set the multiplier sky high and it self throttles to 46.
