A few questions about my new build (2500k in Define R3)

Hello guys,

new to the forum and came across it while googling for useful information, which this forum seemed to have alot of.

So while trying to figure out what I need the rig for and what components I need, I came up with this build:

CPU: Intel 2500K, boxed
CPU-Cooler: Prolimatech Super Mega
Memory: 8GB-Kit (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance CL9 DDR3-1600
Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 PRO
Graphics: ASUS 6950
SSD: 60GB OCZ Vortex 2 (for OS)
HDD: 500GB WD Caviar Blue, 7200rpm (for data)
PSU: Seasonic X-660
Case: Fractal Design Define R3, black
CPU-Fans: 2x Prolimatech Blue Vortex 14 (1000rpm, 147.03m³/h, 18.1dBA)
Case-Fans: 2x Scythe Slim Stream 140mm (800rpm, 73.5m³/h, 14.3dBA)

Other stuff (not really relevant): Samsung P2450H as screen, Logitech G110 and G700 as keyboard and mouse, some cheap Samsung DVD-RW drive.

Components are all en route and should arrive in 3-4 days, but before I start unpacking and building the rig, I wanted to ask a few more questions or your experience with a few things, so I can maybe do last minute changes to the setup.

1) Does anyone know if the Scythe Slip Stream 140mm fit for the Define R3? I just noticed the bend shape of the fans and that makes me wonder.

2) People suggested to me that even if overclocking the 2500K (say with a 42x multiplier) I could easily run just one of the Prolimatech fans - I however bought two, just to be on the safe side, so I can use a Push-Pull setup. Any experience whether or not one is enough or if I should go for Push-Pull?

3) With this motherboard and (I think) decent CPU ... how viable would a 2nd 6950 be? Both in terms of gained (gaming) power, in terms of power consumption and heat. I can't really imagine how warm and loud a 6950 can get, so any experience from someone with maybe a CF-6950 setup would be amazing.

Any other comments regarding the setup are welcome too.

Cheers,
Yuto
