I am running the large fft test in prime now, going to leave it over night. And if it is stable when I wake up, I might want to lower the vcore a bit. But if that doesn't work, does it mean that I cannot get the vcore lower if I do not lower the BCKL?

Or maybe another alternative is, raise the BCKL and see how far I can go on that vcore?

Ok, thanks for the answers.

At the moment I only got one more, does higher BCKL mean higher temperatures? Or is that only depending on the vcore?

Cross your fingers for me.

It depends on the vcore, more vcore == higher temps. Will do, good luck.
+Rep to jam3s for the extra help.

It's been running stable for 10 hours now, but the vcore went up to 1.368v and the temperatures have been around 85 celcius.. And I can't really run at those temps.

I hope I didn't damage something now.

Temp max I believe is 71.6c or something along those lines.

Remember Intel Burn Test / LinX / prime will run your processor hotter than actual load temps, so don't look into it so much, you should be fine.

Just keep it under that temp for 24/7 use. Glad to see you're somewhat stable.

Here's what I do: 50 passes in IBT/LinX = stable for 12 hours in Prime 95

71.6c / core? Or on the whole CPU?

So you are saying that 85c when running IBT is fine?

It's ok, but you wouldn't want to be running 85c for long periods of time.

I'm saying 72c should be your max temp on all cores.
