Fluctuation in Voltage and HT.

Hey guys,

I am experiencing fluctuation in my CPU voltage and the HT Link speed. Of course, it causes my overall CPU speed to jump + or - 10 MHz. I read this post on the Asus website and it did not help much. Cool n Quiet is disabled and everything is set manually in my BIOS. Any advice? Thanks guys. I'm going to work and won't be able to reply until later this afternoon.

The Overclock in my sig is NOT correct. Everything is set stock except:

CPU Voltage: 1.35
CPU Multiplier: 17.5

This puts the CPU at 3500MHz on multiplier only, although everything fluctuates whether I am overclocked or not.

First thing to try is backing off the overclock a few FSB to see if it still happens. If so try knocking up voltages one by one until the problem goes away. I would start by trying to bump the HT and NB links one notch.

It happens regardless, even at stock setting. I will try the HT and NB links tonight. Thank you!
