ek 360 rad with 3 coolmaster excaliber fans pushing through rad as exhaust
rad mounted top of case fans set @2000rpm
dual drive bat res xspc
ek v2 full cove 5870 block with back plate
tygon tubing with bitspower fitting

i used pea sized mx2 on cpu and a little smaller on gpu

my temps are
room 30c
water between res and pump 30@idle and /37 load after 1 hr or so
air temp in case 31c
cpu idle 40c
cpu load 65c
gpu 35c idle
gpu 50c load

loop goes like this

Looks fine to me. Your ambient temperatures are high, so don't expect 40-50°C on an overclocked CPU like that.

Also, distilled water is far better than that Coolermaster pre-mixed coolant.
lose the coolant, thats prob adding 3-4*c, distilled water with pt nuke/silver coil is the best it cools better, is less conductive, and is under $2 for a gallon

thanks for the fast replys..
will replace coolant for distilled water

should i try any of the following...

reseat cpu using mx4
change fans around????
change flow from res/pump/cpu/gpu/rad and put it res/pump/rad/cpu/gpu/

should i add another 120 or 140 rad between cpu and gpu??

also should i have my pump on setting 5 ?? and fans going flat out???

also is it better to push or pull with my set up..

sorry for so many questions i thought this set up would put a smile on my face but so far im not to impressed as the old h/50 was doing a better job

thanks all

Your temps seem about right because your ambient temp is high.

Replace the coolant with distilled and PT nuke or kill coil for the sake of not destroying your expensive blocks.

You can try reseating the block, I actually found using cheaper Zalman STG2 TIM was better than MX-2 or MX-3 (gave me at least 2 degrees difference).

The loop order wont affect your temps. As said before, its hot in your room so your temperatures will reflect that.

If you have space I'd recommend push/pull on the rad or a 25mm fan shroud, that will help drop your temps by at least 3c.

Ambient temp is way high... should be thinking about cooling that down some... the only other option is some mean high rpm fans blowing the hell out of the rad... die/block connections are good for transferring heat to the loop, but you still have to get the heat out of the loop or the loop heats up, becoming less and less effective at absorbing heat from the die.

You need more grease on the gpu than on the cpu....think of a big pea, not small pea size. That's what I used and it works great!

So many different ways to put Tim on!!

I'm I'n Australia summers time over here. 40c plus outside.

I also noticed that when I rum prime95 my temps jump from 40 to 65/70 almost instantly and when I stop it the drop back not as fast but almost as fast.
Make me think something wrong there. Aslo my temps don't chance if my fans are 1200 rpm or 2200rpm. Temps stay the same.

Thanks for Everyones help.
