Question about my 1090T OC

Thread Starter
Is there anything else I can do to this overclock? I'm stable right now. I'm afraid that my temp is too high to bump up the voltage anymore. Any thoughts? I'm still new to this overclocking game!

That's a beautifull overclock! Preferably I would try to keep the tempature's under 55C, but remember that the temp limit for these chip's are 62C

Awsome voltage's as well for a stable overclock

You might think about upping the HTT (FSB), than adjusting the CPU Mulitplier to maintain approximately the same results (250 x 16x). Currently running this setup on my rig with Vcore of 1.39v (1.428v loaded) to give you an idea.

You can also raise your CPU/NB Freq to 3000MHz while maintaining HT Speed at 2000MHz for added performance too!

Nice OC there... but I suggest you do something about the ram timing... 1600 CL11 is not good at all. Even 1600 CL9 is a whole lot better than that !
keep ht link around 2000mhz but bump your nb freq up to 2800-3000mhz & cpu-nb voltage to 1.3-1.35v

and you can probably get your timings to 9-9-9 at least

I've never messed with timings. Do I just go to the BIOs and change them to 9s instead of 11s?
Thanks!

Whenever I try to bump my NB over 2400, I get the following error. Any clue? I've never seen this before.

well what's your cpu-nb voltage?

and yes, you can change timings in bios... it's probably on auto right now
post #10 of 14
Just add a bit of cpu NB voltage +0.25v and you shouldnt get that error.
