Couple of questions regarding my EVGA 470 - Page 2

Your card is safe up to 105c, but I wouldn't want to run it anywhere near those temps for daily usage.

So try and keep it under 90c or lower if I were you. I perfer 80c and lower. There again Metro 2033 is a very demanding game on any gpu. So you shouldn't see such high temps with most other games.

1.087v is the max in AB, and safe also if you get the temps in check. But of course like any GPU or CPU, it will shorten your chips life. Not enough to worry about I'm sure tho.

My temps never reach at 90c. But when gaming like Just Cause 2, or other intensive games. It ranges from 80-85c. What do you think is the estimated lifespan of my GPU? So is maxing out the voltage in AB will shorten the lifespan of my card?

Not sure if you need 1.087v for that OC. I think you can hit that with 1.000v or something around that.

I have the Gigabyte GTX 470 SOC and I keep mine at 750/1700 without any voltage tweaking.

I tried lowering my voltage to 1.000v and my driver crash.
