Well this is what mine looked like after months of use, first time opening it.. very stained to say the least.

Most of it came off fairly easily but unfortunately the after pictures are poor, maybe the light reflected of the water still.

From what i read of that thread, you were the voice of reason....shame,all they did was see that you post at RRT like myself and,BOOM! Instaban!
Waterlogged is just an embarassment, you were the bigger man there, someone talked to me like that...there would be an early morning knock at the door and Waterlogged's face on a milk carton.

wow thats all peeling/peeled nickel....
I would honestly go check your pump as well to make sure there arent' bits of nickel clogging it up inside as well as your other blocks if you have them running in the same loop.

Tonnes of stories floating around about XS banning people that are vocal/against EK. They even banned BP's rep from their forums.

This is why we keep to the sides that we do... honestly I thought you'd been banned from XS a LONG time ago, DB, but oh well. People can hate this place all they want but we're not going to be the pack of trigger-happy rabid jackals that seems to frequent RRT, but at the same time we won't ostracize conflicting opinions like XS. It's safe to say Eddy isn't going to show his face here again (he isn't banned, he just got tired of the outrage) but if he does I hope he comes clean.

CC,you are smart enough to realize just being a member of a 'controversial' site like RRT doesnt make you a bad person,as long as what is posted HERE doesnt contravene the TOS of THIS site.
XS are not so fortunate...
I post at RRT,once you get past the crunchy, spiky outer shell, there is much to gain from being a member there.

OCN>XS.....always.

You're probably thinking the middle area is all peeled but that's just cleaned and looks like the other areas under proper light. The dark spots/areas there are stuck stains that I couldn't get rid of in the time I spent.

The small area where it had peeled is on the top right though you can't see it in that picture (it looks different and I really wish I had looked at the pictures before I put it back together to get better ones).

This is my second or third perma ban at XS. Fugger said he will have the permaban lifted in my FB post on the subject.

The RRTech guys have mellowed a ton and the XS Vs RRTech fighting was almost nil until this EK issue arose. It looked like XS was going to be like OCN and allow a dialog without protecting one side or another until a certain moderator got involved. By that time I was successful in getting people all stirred up and focused on the issues at hand biggrin.gif

You were using a colored fluid as coolant too I'm guessing?

If you ever open it up again, here's a few small tips for a better photo:

Since it is a shiny silver object, photographing it is very much like taking a picture into a mirror. Make sure that you have the camera positioned to "see" something white reflected in the block eg. the ceiling. Also, turn off the flash.
