Just what I've heard though.

I don't think we charge for hardware reps to have badges, only vendor reps/sponsored threads. It has nothing to do with money, I have it on good authority he stopped posting because he just doesn't want to hear any of this. Since he's blamed everything and everyone but his own plating people so far, shouldn't that have been obvious from the start? tongue.gif

EN has a slightly duller look compared to the shiny non-EN. En launched in early summer of 2011 if that helps smile.gif. Also, your retail box will have an "EN" sticker on it too.

I drained the loop completely again, replaced the tubing etc so thought I'd try to get better photos of the block and I think these show it's state pretty well now..........hmmmm, but like I said before the actual performance is great.

It's Acetal EN block and only known demineralised water, flushed the system 3 or 4 times in it's life time (~7 months). I feel like scraping all that off to give a 'rustic' look lol.

^ That actually looks like iron oxide rather than nickel/copper but you can see the nickel has pitted and is nowhere near good enough....what fittings do you have and is there any stainless in your loop?

You know what you did wrong?

You put water in it.

RMA denied.

The only fittings are Bitspower which I think are brass.

Bitspower G1/4 Matte Black Rotary
Bitspower G1/4 Matte Black Dual Rotary 90° Adapter

I don't use Silver or Biocide (Copper Sulphate) and changed the water often enough because of that. I don't know about the steal question, is the Raystorm or RX360 stainless steal .. as far as I know no, simple loop with parts in the sig (other than those fittings).

The problem with RMA I think would be the little tag on the side which of course is now cut as you can't see in the block without lifting the acetal off first.

If this is your block, it looks like its a stainless steel piece joining the vrm heatsink to the main water block:
