Also, for your information since you seem to be misinformed about RRTech. No one is banned over there. It seems you misunderstand what a 9000 second timeout is

So, you want me to delete posts YOU don't like? Then label ME small-minded? Yeah, that's clearly an effective approach to so-called bias. Coolhand made an inflammatory statement about RRT, and I deleted it and all replies to prevent a huge argument about it, and that's all there is to it. Note that I didn't actually give ANY opinion about the site myself, nor do I typically have a problem with others' opinions about it, but when members like you react the way they do to such posts, I have to pull the weed at the root. It's as simple as that.

Did I ever say that you should delete such and such post? I simply said you might want to take a closer look at a specific member's posts. I then went on to mention that if you are concerned about the thread getting derailed you should delete all off-topic posts.

No where in any of my posts did I even imply that you should delete posts that I didn't like. Again, you are trying to rationalize your actions and it really isn't working.

I hate EK! My rad came DOA w/ leaks all over and my waterblock was a nickle HF which had this same issue. They wouldn't accept my rma for the rad or waterblock either, and I didn't even use any biocide

XSPC/Heatkiller/Koolance for me

@Mayhem; it's fine to link there, don't worry about it. The only problem comes from when a can of worms is opened about it.

Then I'll go back again and do that (edit; and done, this time), and if in a few minutes you still think there are such posts, by all means, link to them.

That's all right, too. I'm still reading through the thread there myself, keep getting distracted by this one.

There are thousands of people that are waiting on the test reports that EK is going to release shortly, but you have to leave room for skepticism from people if they don't release both versions, I hope EK understands that. Secondly, people need to accept the fact that EK isn't going to set themselves ablaze and say it was 100% their fault and give everyone refunds or replacements, afterall they are a global company that manufactures parts for a very small, niche market and probably couldn't afford to take a complete loss. I would be shocked if they fell on their swords and claimed full responsibility. That being said, I'm taking matters into my own hands and gonna chemically strip the nickel off of my new classified 4 full cover block. If you search the web you can find simple solutions that will remove the nickel without pitting the copper underneath. I found an article that says to submerge the plated block in acetone for 2 hours and then scrub the remaining bits off with a toothbrush. Will it work? I'm gonna find out soon enough and I'll post my results here when I get done, so wish me luck!
