i know they can't replace all of the block that have issues, but maybe if the blocks are still in production, they could do a trade program, if you send in your old blocks you can get a discount at least, since they could refurbish the blocks they get so it'd be a win/win for them, they get to save face and save money, while making money, since they wouldn't have to remanufacture blocks just replate them and offer them for a discount

Why would anyone want to pay for a replacement warranty part, other than maybe shipping?

Planning to vote in the poll based on what the report and warranty procedures become. But at this point I don't plan to purchase EK again- a redeeming solution would be a full warranty recall, but I think those chances are slim...

Why should I pay more to a company when it's their own fault.

That would be like Intel charging you extra for a fixed SB mobo.
