That's the copper version, not the silver one. They have a 200+ dollar model not mentioned in his review of the Kryos where the ENTIRE base, including microchannels and such, is made of .925 silver. Supposedly, you gain a few degrees Celsius over the copper version, but nobody has verified that yet.
I know..i think Gary is the only one that sells the silver one

Pretty decent review by Cartago @ xs.org. And they don't look as restrictive as others. My ddc w/ the xspc top should handle it nicely

seems ok, but its far better looking than the razors from xspc. I just loaned some money to my sis who is going through a nasty divorce, so I might hold up and put up with the crazy stock fan noise (above 50%) and get HK later on. Still wanna sell my old blocks to make some money back though.

I'm glad I went with hk blocks for my sig and aquacomputer (aquagratix) gpu blocks for my latest build. I did use a ek block for the asus crosshair IV and a ek pump top res ( the res tube cracked btw, had to buy a replacement). Hopefully the mobo block will hold up.

I'm curious as to the outcome of the independent test. Wishing all you guys with rma's the best.

ppl start ordering copper instead of nickel plated they will probably get the old nickel ones strip the nickel and sell them as copper but do something wrong in the process and then blame the user. just an expectation I now have of EK
