Where did you read this about the drivers? Reinstalling your drivers as long as the card is at stock clocks and voltage should not result in any problems.

I don't know if it is directly because of your voltage increase, but the "driver not responding" error is usually a sign of a dying card.

Both my old 9800GTs began getting those exact same errors ~6 months before they died, and others on the official Nvidia forums reported similar issues before their cards gave out. If your warranty is voided... well, live and learn.

my friend had a gtx260 and had this issue, black screen and then driver not responding, he tried to uninstall it and once he did that the card was dead, could not install drivers back, he tried baking it too, didnt work...

my card has the same issue, im aware it is dying, but just wonder if i can fix it.
