Mass Effect(1 & 2) PC vs 360

Thread Starter
I own Mass Effect 1 and 2 for the 360, and 1 for the Pc. I've noticed a large graphic improvement On PC vs 360 for ME1. However, from what I've read on ME2 their roughly the same on both. has anyone played both and can confirm if one is better/easier to control? I'm thinking about buying ME2 for the PC...and would rather not waste $20 on it.

Agreed, it looks really good. Get some AA on it too, maybe some texture mods and it'll be a huge jump.

The quality of the textures and detail of the models on PC make it look incredible. Some of the best ingame models I've seen from a console game.

PC all the way! I do have ME1 & 2 on both 360 and PC and the difference in load times and graphics is night and day. Here, I'll let you decide for yourself.

Are you talking about mine, or the ones I read?

And damn Tataki...I don't have my ME2 discs with me right now, but that does look amazing. And correct me if I'm wrong, but res is limited to 720p on 360 correct?

Not only does it look much better but everything loads much MUCH faster on pc, it takes 5 minutes to load an area when I die on my 360, it takes 5 seconds on a decent PC.

Is there any way to do that that isn't overly complicated.

I don't like the lack of graphics options in ME2 which I just got from Amazon for 10 bucks. biggrin.gif

Awesome cut scenes too I must say but my GTX 570 is getting bored. It doesn't go above 58*C with auto fans on.

Same here with my 480. I use a bunch of mods and force everything to the highest in the Nvidia Control Panel.
