yeah,really nothing wrong with their new series-only problem for you guys in the us-the limitted 1 year warranty;but..6 month later most of us have a new board to play with.
so at least for me a reason to grab "fair value"

smile.gif i do have already my PCI sound card from my second machine EVGA 780i FTW ( Q9650 ) but not an x1 pci. Little bad that Asrock didn't space better the PCIE and the PCI's to ovoid that problem.. So with two PCIE occupied there will be no free PCI's frown.gif

yeah,really bad,i used asus sonar soundcard on my old x58-now i use onboard-its ok.

few 3d benchmarks 06-the only one i have-lol

ran twice

1-@4,8 ghz
2-@5 ghz
its probably more a cpu stress test

I just purchased extreme6 board and was able to install x-fi titanium card in top pci x1 slot above pci-e slot 1. I removed the heat shield attached ontop of cooling fins. Secured onto cooling fins with soft adhesive, I also removed bottom screw on x-fi card that holds x-fi housing. Works perfectly. This would have been a deal breaker for me had I not been able to use my soundcard.
