Wanted P4 EE 3.4GHz 478

Thread Starter
Wanted to know if someone could show me how much I should pay for one of these used shipped to Canada ?
I have a P4P800 SE and my 740 mobile Dothan with the adapter screws up the motherboard with a 'new cpu detected' error every time it's over clocked, and then all settings are reset. Rather have a 800MHZ front side bus as I have DDR400 ocz platinum ram that I want to actually use at its rated speed.

Its a double blade sword.

Its not really worth $10 considering even a new celeron/sempron is much faster

However its dated tech and no more cpus are manufactured for the board.

Don't pay more than $20 shipped or just spend $70 for a new cpu/mb combo

DO NOT PAY $45 for a P4

$70 for a Sempron + MB thats much faster and I think may be able to unlock to a dual

I sold one for 50 bucks on OCN a few months ago.

Yeah old dead tech gets a premium, but I'd pay $20 more for a Sargonas

yes but i just want to upgrade this board to the best cpu and leave it at that, i want to keep the case as-is with everything in it after this.
i may look like an idiot for paying $45 but at that price it's almost nothing to get better performance and maybe get rid of the bios error message i have at boot. im using a 1.75ghz pentium M with a 479 adapter board
