Depends on how loud you want your fan to be. Watercooling mine didn't really make a whole lot more difference in speed, but its now super quiet and 40C cooler.

If I ran my fan at 100% I could hit 800mhz with 1.087V.

o can i go any further than 815 on the core right now its stable if i go any further then that then it gets unstable or do i just have to mess around with it more?

I OC mine to 1.087 800/1600/1900. It's stable and I don't feel any need to go higher.

Trust me you it is way simpler than it looks. Just make the paper box and use double sided tape attaching it to the card. Use the same tape to attach the fan as well:/

EDIT: If it looks sexy, I shall make it on youtube. However, ... It's ugly although effective.

An 800+ core clock is a solid overclock for any reference GTX470.

800/1600/1900 1.050v for short stints (benchmarks) as the stock fan was uber loud and temps skyrocketed to +80°c
