I agree 100%, one of the reasons I'm sticking with a cheap H67 board for now, the overclock just isn't worth it for me at this point. rep+1

hey guys, a quick couple of questions here

ive got the asrock extreme6, how does this board compare to the asus and gigabyte offerings? i know asrock stuff is generally cheaper for the same sort of boards, what do they skimp on? at first, i was worried about the vrm but its listed as having 18 phases. perhaps the quality of the mosfets or capacitators or something (i have no idea what im talking about lol)?

If you read there somewhere i said im working my way down from 1.4v for this OC, I only bench overnight with my windows open, currently down to 1.395 stable, gonna drop it another notch tonight, was gonna do it last night but i passed out too early.

The high temps are due to the high Vcore for this OC. He he i wouldn't go so far as to call the H70 true water he he, already have my water kit picked out and bookmarked but cant afford it right now, well cant afford it comfortably, work out supplements always take priority over PC components, sadly.

Ha ha if i benched in the day , where i live, my room would catch on fire, we are already at 85+ degrees in New Mexico during the day!
