Yes, it would. That, and temps.

The problem is, people post what they like.

I'll try to add those anyway.

Hey how many of u can go above x52 multi. I have heard that some selected chips are able to go above that.

Is that true ?

I've been able to. But it depends on the voltage.

So can i set x53 directly or have to keep on looking for that ?
The lower the better or can u do x56 ?

This sandy-bridge has some serious potential. Im just upgrading to SB.

2500k can equally compete with i7 960, 2600k can with 990x.

Depends on your cpu, I have one that does x51, another only does x50. Regardless of base clock.

I've got to say I appreciate those of you taking the early adopter's jitters head on. Its looking more and more that these CPUs can handle some abuse. Thanks for your work, its ashame Intel can't give a KWH rating (wattage = time rated.) People want to know the max safe voltage, but there is a TDP rating. And this is being, what doubled without harmful effect (assuming proper cooling.)? The TDP must be largley just the stock heatsink rating. I wonder if the next stepping SB K processors will be better overclockers, or require less voltage?

If you're looking for 5.2Ghz+ you should get the UD7.

But again, it's a chance game with the CPU you get.
