Regular CPU temps guidelines - don't go over 80C for 24/7.

You should be fine with any high-end air cooler.

Just make sure to run Prime95/ORTHOS for at least a day if you end to do Bigadv for 50,000 PPD.
okay cool, thanks. I have a Rasa kit lying around I think I might finally put to use again...

Does anybody have opinions on the Asus P67 Revolution? Im seriously considering this board instead of a Gigabyte.

How would it compare (price to performance) to something like the Gigabyte UD4. Newegg has a combo deal going right now where the 2500k and UD4 are only $394. Thats quite tempting to me.

Motherboards don't have "performance", unless you mean overclocking, and there's really no difference in that between the two mentioned.

The only things motherboards have are 'features', such as extra PCIe slots, more SATA ports, etc.

By looking at my graph, you can tell which 'features' you want and how much money they're worth to you.

Beyond that, there's really nothing else to say.

I'm usually out of town during the week and only get to play on weekends...this is what I've got so far.

Lot of reports that MB manufatcurers are dropping the P67, suuport, even sales mentioned. Any truth to this?

You are referring to what KitGuru reporting about Gigaybyte moving out of the P67 lineup?

That looks to be true. Remains to be seen if the biggest board maker shows any sign of moving away (that would be Asus of course).

Yes, I bit concerning if considering buying a P67. I guess I would want to find one that is stable and has no bugs with current bios.
