It's a 10$ difference for something that no one really needs.

Like having 8 USB 3.0 ports and calling it Z69.

From everything you've said, I see no reason why you shouldn't go with H67.

You want an IGP and the ability to overclock to ~4.2Ghz.

That's what Turbo is for. Z68 is strictly for those who want 4.4Ghz+.

Which once again, proves that H67 + 600Mhz = Z68.

facepalm. Yes, i will have you believe that the integrated graphics is faster than a discrete card at video transcoding. Even a 580 in one benchmark i saw. Don't believe me? Do some research.

I plan to OC a 2500K to its limits and i really dont see the problem with paying 10-20 extra bucks for additional features to the p67.

Sir you are not the authority on anything that I can see. Just another member with an opinion...and I did not ask you for your opinion;). "hate" Z68? What has it ever done to you? Run over your cat?

I posted that I want 4.3/4.4 Ghz and that is a minimum ...I think with my cooling I can get that much or maybe 4.5 ..and I don't plan on feeding it a lot of volts to get there. My choice, not yours and I don't appreciate you telling me what I should get...because it suits you.

What don't you understand about people wanting what they want...and not being wrong for wanting something that doesn't suit you? I have plenty of money and I spend it how I want..on what I want.

I don't mind one bit that you prefer another product, but I think your New York bully personality is showing.

Gotta go as the UPS man delivered my worthless Mobo a while ago and I want to play with it. H68...no thanks biggrin.gif

I simply think that H67 would suit YOU better.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do, nor I do know with what audacity you claim I have done so.

I am simply trying to tell you that you are making a mistake for your own self.

Don't want to listen to my advice? That's perfectly fine.

My grandfather died so that people like you can be FREE to make any right/wrong choice they might want, and I am proud of that.

Then you're a fool.

Intel IGP has no feature that would make it better than a dedicated GPU.

Thus, the CUDA cores available to render are the only determining factor.

If you want to be all sour about it and spread false information, I take offense.

I could not find any benchmarks for or against, but this is as close as I got:

I'm trying to choose between the AsRock P67-Pro and MSI P67A-C43, does MOSFET cooling really matter? Also what does 'lack of VRM' power mean? I mean I don't really plan on overclocking. And the MSI board is $5 more than the asrock. So from this I think I'd go with the MSI board.

Am I wrong?

You have the audacity young man. You are not qualified to tell me anything or warn me about making a mistake. I served six years in the armed forces so know-it-alls like you could exhibit your unearned sense of self worth.
What don't you understand about I did not ask for your advice...I don't want your advice ...I think you have your head so far up ...well you get my drift. I'm done talking to you as it only brings me down to your level.

Don't patronize me. I served 3 years in today's army.

It saddens me that instead of learning from your decedents, you choose to remain ignorant and act defensive towards a man one-third your age.

You want to insult me and put me down just because I try to help you?

For shame.

Well, there are other features, such as SLi support.

But if you're not overclocking, then any VRM power would do.

Go with the cheapest motherboard that supports all the features you want smile.gif

it still just baffles me how you think adding features to a board some how makes it worse than the original.

That's from ASRock themselves, making it highly lacking credibility.

But hopefully we'll know more soon, seeing as the NDA has already been lifted.
