It just so happens I can still RMA my B2 for a P67/Z68.

Currently thinking about it, dependent on further reviews of QuickSync.

I can tell you that I have a few legal ameture concert videos that I put together in DVD format with Media Suite and I was just plain stunned at the speed compared to my old Q9550 rig. Surely there will be open source programs, heck its an intel product, they aren't macintosh The only thing I don't like about the H67 is that audio encoding is slow compared to the overclcocked P67's, but for video encoding it shocked me.

And it'll be even more shocking on a z68 when its overclocked

According to this video, the box on the gigabyte z68x-ud4 shows it to have 16 phase power. Might wanna update that on your graph. I guess this also explains the price difference from the UD3P

If all you need to do is connect the onboard video out to another monitor to get QuickSync working, couldn't you just connect it to your same monitor since they there's usually multiple port types? I don't have to have my 2nd monitor turned on for it to show up in Windows monitor config as long as the cable is connected.
