What is Dual LAN?

It's when you have two RJ45 Ethernet or LAN (Local Area Network) inputs/outputs, instead of one.

gigabyte_x48t_dq6_08_thumb.jpg

The first is used to connect the computer to a modem or router.

The second is primarily used to connect the computer to another computer.

You mean the recall?

I don't think they'll change the boards. They'll just fix 'em and put 'em the way they were.

I am currently running the UD7, i guess i just have an unlucky board or i dont know what the poo?! The thing is very finicky and my patience has been worn very thin dealing with the reboot cycles and reversion of the bios to F3 due to the dual BIOS system. I was able to lock in a stable 24/7 4600 and was getting good results testing 4700 , the thing is when i run into the inevitable restarts or blue screens from overclocking the dual bios kicks in and reboots about 6 times then reverts me back to f3. I dunno its just been a major headache to OC with this board.

I wont deny the success people have had with the board, i just feel very annoyed with the problem i discussed and will probably end up getting a refund and going with the Asus Maximus Extreme when the revised boards roll out. I cant stand the dual bios on this UD7!

Information about the P67 Recall
1.) It only affects the Chipsets on the motherboards, not the CPUs.
2.) It affects only the SATA II ports, not the faster SATA III.
3.) It affects a maximum of One person in 6.5, or 15% of users.
So, unless you wish to use 4+ HDDs on your P67 motherboard, and like to be very cautious..
You have no reason to wait.

Awesome by the way !!! So much nonsense going on out there right now !!!!

Thank you!

I was actually told by a Mod to erase it because it was too long, but luckily I managed to shorten it.

In regards to your problem - I've never had an issue with the Dual-BIOS. It's a great feature that's been on many of the high-end boards in the past years.

Since your cooler is well good enough for 4600Mhz, I have to assume you're inexperienced with the workings of the BIOS and overclocking in particular.

With the right voltage, you wouldn't get the BSODs.
