RAM choice makes my head spin....help!

So, i will get the giabyte p67ud5 with a 2500k, but still not sure which ram i need or what is best for my needs. So far i know that i will only need the pc for gaming and that 4 gb should be enough.
I will get my components from http://www.digitec.ch
I am quite confused which ram to choose. I want to oc my cpu, gpu and ram. From the website digitec, most of the ram that is suggested to other ocn's is not available there. I am also unsure about what to look for regarding timings of the ram. The timings is also something i am uncertain about. And lastly, which brand. There is lots of kingston available but i don't see lot of ocn using them. Mushkin and gskill are quite popular and i assume they are good to oc? Crucial dominators are also suggested often but then which ones? 1333, 1600, 2000 or even higher?
I get the new mb, cpu and ram and maybe an ssd drive from my mom for christmas. I can spend about 900 swiss francs ($900). I may still decide to get the 2600k but then again if i only game why waste the money.
So, please have a look at digitec and they are available in english and let me know which ram i should get.
Thanks guys. I want to order tomorrow monday and my pc has been broken (mb) for about 2 months. Feels more like 2 years......

Brand is irrelevant. Just get something that fits your budget, has heatspreaders, and anything 1600 CAS 8/9 or better (lower timings = better) is fine.

These will serve you VERY well. If they are too expensive, my second recommendation would be these.

Can't yo look up the Specs of what will work from your Mobo manual or the mobo websites QVL? (Qualified Vendors List)

I mean this is something your going to get many more answers too. I hate Mushkins but hey maybe they work great for him,
I own Gskills and Kingstons HyperX, and have no issues with them.

I know it don't help much but bare in mind...
