Should memtest86+ run automatically? I have made a bootable CD. When I boot up the PC and it runs it I get a screen that says

Memtest86+ v4.10
Intel 3411 Mhz
L1 cache: 32k 113707 MB/s
L2 cache: 256k 51685 MB/s
L3 cache: 8192k 38763 MB/s
Memory: 8172M 16721 MB/s
IMC: Intel(r) Core ii-2600k CPU @ 3.40GHZ /BLCK : 100 MHZ
Settings RAM : 0 MHz (DDR3- 0)

728K e820 off

I don't see anything running testing the memory. I also don't see any options to start running a memory test.

This is a new build PC. I am runing an Asus P8P67 Pro with an i7 2600k. I have installed windows ok without errors. The PC was left on overnight to see if it crashed or reset itself which it didn't. Windows is seeing all 8GB of memory.

So how do I get memtest86+ to work or would you suggest a better memory testing program?

it should run automatically, it may take a while with 8GB but it will start moving up in percent
