Wireless Modem + Router

Thread Starter
What's the new stuffs in the market?
Know that there's 802.11g/b & the new one "N"...
Those above are wireless. not so important for me, I'm more into LAN.

Any special features that I should look out for that would boost up LAN?

Needing wi-fi & combo of modem + 4 ports.

Thanking all in advance

wired is still better if you have a gigabit switch/router for your newer machines with gigabit lan ports

wireless n is good for large file transfers, or sharing wmc hd videos
it also has better range and wont interfere with some other stuff (ex. microwave or cordless phones)

there are several speeds to pick from, 150/300/450
all compatable with each other, they will connect at a max of the slowest one (router/device)
one 150 or g device will not slow down 300 router and other 300 devices
a 150 router will limit 2 or more 300/450 devices to 150 tho
