1055t Overclock

Thread Starter
Is this a good overclock? I just am curious because I can't seem to get any higher than this for some reason.

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1599526

Can anyone give me any tips or pointers to get a higher stable overclock? I know 3.5GHz for 6 cores is still incredibly powerful, but it'd be cool to get it even better!

Nice Overclock, What are your load temps? Because you can take her to 4.0GHz at 1.42V if possible?

You need to increase the voltage.

If you bring it to 1.42 you will still be in AMD specifications and probably be able to hit ~3.8Ghz

xD what do you mean? By the way i replied so fast? I just come out from the Folding thread's straight to AMD CPU's and seen this, and thought hmm okay, reply reply reply!! lol Anyway's Your CPU should be able to do 4.0GHz at 1.42V just fine, as I can anyways and I seen many other people do 4.0GHz with 1055T and 1090T's just fine

1055t is a 2.8GHZ chip

4.0ghz is a 1.2ghz OC I thought that was being a bit optimistic.

I also looked it up (Link is here)

AMd says you can safely bring the chip to 1.40 not 1.42..

How ever thats a limit that should be ignored

And yes i called you a ninja because you beat me to the first response

Aye, AMD will say that, but that's bull....

These chips can run perfectly upto 1.55V which I have done on many occasions to get to 4.3GHz on my 1055T

If the turbo core is enabled, the voltage will ramp upto 1.47V which is ridiculous for a very small overclock

Thing is, I have tried that in the past and it never seemed to work. What did you set your NB voltage to? I found that my memory kind of limits it because its only 1333 Patriot Gamer series. I keep getting blue screens when I was overclocked to the 3.5GHz. I'm guessing that means it was incredibly unstable? I got the 0x50 and the 0x1E blue screens a couple of times.
